Want to check whether a virus warning is genuine or a hoax?

We all receive emails warning us from time to time about the imminent arrival of such and such a virus. Many such emails are in fact hoaxes, which nevertheless clog up the internet because these emails ask you to forward the warning to all your colleagues and friends.
